Další informace:	Specialization description: The ecology field of study is a Special and Interdisciplinary Fields, and is one of the main fields of doctoral studies of the CZU Faculty of Environmental Science in Prague. The field is focused primarily on the classical, i.e. biological sense. This is a scientific discipline that deals with the relationships between organisms and the environment with an emphasis on biological processes and consequences of environmental changes on the structure and functioning of ecosystems, their subsystems and components (individuals, populations, communities), including their mutual interactions and energy flow processes, cycles of substances in ecosystems and their evolution. The research activities are based on the broad professional potential of the department and translate into the autecology, demecological and synecological levels.
