Masaryk University offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students from around the world to immerse themselves in an intensive summer research internship. Each year, our research facilities welcome international students to join cutting-edge projects led by the Faculties of Pharmacy and Science. Supervised by experienced faculty members, students gain hands-on experience and invaluable mentorship.

Participants will commit to at least 250-275 hours in the lab (8 hours a day, 4 days a week, over 8 weeks) working on a specific research project, acquiring practical skills and insights into advanced scientific research.

Outside the lab, the programme offers a vibrant cultural experience, introducing students to Czech and Central European heritage. Activities include lectures, seminars, film screenings, concerts, museum visits, and tours of historical sites. Additionally, participants will embark on three unforgettable excursions to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, discovering the cultural and historical connections that shape Central Europe. Each trip includes transport, guided tours, accommodation, and a full cultural itinerary.

Students will benefit from comprehensive support, including an orientation, 24/7 on-site assistance, local student support at the residence, and access to university libraries, cafeterias, computer labs, and gym facilities.
