| Additional informations: | This programme develops students’ deep theoretical knowledge in organic chemistry and in related fields, and makes them competent in experimenting. Students will become adept at controlling contemporary synthetic and separation procedures and be capable of using analytical methods in a chemical laboratory. Graduates can work in companies that focus on the development and production of organic compounds, such as natural substances, pharmaceuticals, dyes, and compounds for optoelectronics. They will have the knowledge necessary to process and creatively address issues in the chemistry of organic compounds and related disciplines, in terms of chemical research and chemical production, but also in terms of application, use and potential impacts of chemicals in all areas of human activity. The Faculty of Chemical Technology has a proud 70-year history in the field of chemistry, and boasts state-of-the-art equipment in modern laboratories and facilities. The city of Pardubice offers safe and affordable cost of living, and easy access to major cities in Europe. As part of their studies, students will have the opportunity to work with international experts, complete an internship of at least one month abroad, and will gain experience in writing and publishing articles and presenting papers. Students can apply for a scholarship to fund their studies, and can gain additional income by working on projects if and where available. |
