Additional informations: | This programme aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of electric traction systems in road and rail vehicles, dependent traction power systems, electro mobility (i.e. power chains, battery power supply for charging systems, etc.), and safety-critical control systems in transportation, as well as of control, automation, radio communication, and sensor technology in vehicles and systems. Graduates will be able to solve, individually and in teams, scientific and research problems in technical fields of transport and related areas. The Faculty of Transport Engineering offers students the opportunity of hands-on experience in modern research facilities and equipment reflecting the latest technology. Students will be able to specialise in a particular aspect of transport engineering while having an overview of how the different interrelated fields interact. In addition, there is close cooperation with various Czech and international companies such as Škoda Auto, Siemens, CZ LOKO and Enteria, which ensures that all work is relevant and applicable to solve real-world problems. The city of Pardubice offers safe and affordable cost of living, and easy access to major cities in Europe. As part of their studies, students can also collaborate with international partners in the form of research, publications or visits.
